Allison (Aly) Kinne, is the Founder and Director of Rethink Industries. Her treatment encourages participants to find their strengths. Aly's objective is to support clients in learning what's necessary to make healthier choices, have promising futures, while accepting their past. She is passionate about encouraging clients to push through pain, identify previously unimaginable goals, and find gratitude, even in mistakes and hardships. She believes her treatment promotes healing, increases insight, and decreases internalized trauma. Aly’s experience lies in helping clients find their way towards new and prosperous futures. Her expertise resides in the study of rethinking how connection creates and fosters relationships. The manifestation of each clients' dreams, along with an individually tailored strategy, remains the primary focus and priority of the organization. Aly is a highly-motivated and extensively-trained therapist. Her distinct ability to transform fear, doubt, and affliction into action and strategy lends itself to a sustainable decrease in negative behaviors.
Aly is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II, Internationally Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Professional, Intervention Specialist, Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Associate, and a Level III Brainspotter. Although she specializes in trauma and substance abuse/dependence, Aly enjoys working with couples, co-dependency, and severe-persistent mental illness.
Aly relocated Rethink Industries from Folsom, California to beautiful Quincy in 2017.
John provides trauma-informed substance abuse counseling, trauma treatment, and case management. He provides reality-based treatment using the Choice Theory and Harm Reduction methods. John also utilizes Brainspotting to help process and reduce the effects and symptoms of trauma. His methods can help reduce stress, process trauma, reduce negative thought patterns, open up better communication processes, and help achieve a new, more productive life. Treatment sessions will include treatment planning, assessments, and any additional tools necessary to pinpoint issues while providing a cohesive, manageable plan, and therapeutic process.
John has been a certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CADCI) for over 10 years. He is a brainspotting practitioner and is currently enrolled in an accredited Life Coaching program. He has worked with inpatient, youth, and with members of the criminal justice population, along with private clients in Lake and Lassen counties.
He settled in Plumas County in 2013 where he has continued his excellent treatment in all of Rethink Industries’ many programs, including Private, Grant, DUI, and DEJ.
Kate understands the many challenges we face as humans-whether it be a difficulty with managing stress, anxiety, depression, grief, or stressful relationships. Through counseling, Kate helps clients learn tools to better manage uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, and situations that often get in the way of being the person they want to be, or disrupts the life they want to live. She assists her clients in developing a deeper understanding of themselves, moving toward their goals and ultimately, increased life satisfaction. Expect a conversational, collaborative, nonjudgmental approach that supports you on your journey.
Kate has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2017 and provides telehealth services using HIPAA compliant technology-based services. She also offers telehealth therapy for qualifying individuals of all ages, including couples and families. Kate completed a comprehensive telehealth course and is excited for the opportunity to provide this additional flexibility to participants while maintaining the same quality of care as in-person services. Kate's experience ranges from working in a primary care setting, with outpatient substance abuse treatment, community-based outpatient mental health, and in school settings.

Christina (Chris) is currently in school to become a Medical Biller. She is rapidly gaining experience while working in Quincy at Rethink doing mental health medical billing, operating our front desk, scheduling client appointments, and doing other reception and administrative tasks. Chris sits at the front desk ready to greet you and answer any programmatic questions. She has a bubbly approachable personality, is highly detail-oriented, and is a joy to have at Rethink Industries.
Ramsey Harvey works at the intersection of ecology and mental health. With a BA in Holistic & Ecological Wellness through Recreation, she is passionate about strengthening relations between people and the natural world. As an [intern] with Rethink Industries, she is accruing hours for her CADC I certificate through administrative support and counseling services. In the community, she teaches gardening and nutrition to K-6th students, is the head cook at a preschool and tends a small farmstead with her family.
Oceanna Williams migrated to Quincy from Santa Cruz in 2016. She and her husband were searching for a new beginning, a quieter lifestyle, and more nature.
Oceanna believes that excellent health is the path to inner peace. She has a deep commitment to energetically creating a safe and nurturing space for clients. She desires to awaken them to the possibility of a healthier Body, Mind, and Spirit. Her goal is to help clients acknowledge and explore their ability to self-heal. Each session includes blended modalities of Swedish Massage and Reiki. She utilizes essential oils and healing stones to expand the experience.
