We do our best to provide counseling and wrap-around services for our families. We believe that supporting the entire family system is the most effective and efficient way in helping individuals grow, change, and heal. We especially encourage wrap-around services when we are treating children.
This creates an opportunity for those with hectic schedules, who want convenience, for communities with limited services and resources, and for those who struggle with being able to leave their home environments due to mental health to still receive our services and counseling.

Rethink Industries provides In-Home, Telehealth, and In-office Substance Abuse and Dependency Interventions and counseling to help you and your loved ones through the process of recovery. The entire family is greatly affected when a loved one is struggling with addiction, and we work to adjust the family system to best support the struggling individual to maintain long-term recovery.
If an inpatient facility is recommended, Rethink Industries will help navigate the entire process - from finding an appropriate facility, to transportation to and from treatment, helping the family seek the support they need, and providing aftercare for to stabilize the behaviors that lead back to use and abuse.
Marathon counseling sessions are treatment sessions that last 2 - 6 hours. Some prefer these sessions for various reasons. For example, if you are coming from far away, if our team has traveled to you, if you have a hectic schedule, if you are feeling like you are in crisis need to cover a lot of therapeutic ground quickly, you enjoy really digging in and getting things done, etc. Whatever your reason may be, we are here to tailor treatment to best meet your needs.
Depending on your needs, we offer in-home support services, case management, and counseling. Sometimes, the home environment is the only place a challenged behavior occurs, or sometimes our mental health makes it hard for us to leave our home. Our team is willing to work with you, where you are, in an effort to get you back into the community and to learn to work with your challenging behavior.
Trauma is not only a difficult thing to experience, but difficult to understand. Brainspotting is a tool used in counseling to access the client's visual field that helps access unprocessed trauma in the subcortical brain. Brainspotting was founded by David Grand, Ph.D, in 2003. He discovered that, "where you look, affects how you feel." We utilize eye position to access and organize our overwhelming trauma response and expereince.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) stems from traditional Cognitive Behavior Therapy, which helps identify and change negative thinking patterns while pushing for positive behavioral changes. DBT, through counseling, additionally provides you with the skills to honor two opposing feelings at the same time. When we learn to accept things like, "I love you and I hate you" and "I am sad and angry" we learn how to increase our ability to have a greater understanding of ourselves, have compassion for those around us, and have a clearer understanding of communication and relationships.
The Gottman Therapy is a couples modality of counseling that begins with an assessment process, then transitions into therapeutic framework and intervention. We refer to this process as "social-math." Following a detailed assessment process, we utilize an evidenced-based framework for what it will take to improve the overall quality of your relationship. The assessment helps give us clear projections of what barriers stand in your way and offers the antidotes for regrowth and new found connection.
Friendship, conflict management, and creation of shared meaning are the three primary areas we will address using this therapy. Couples learn to replace negative conflict patterns with positive interactions while learning to repair past hurts. Interventions are designed to increase closeness and intimacy in order to improve friendship, deepen emotional connection, and create changes, while enhanceing the couples' shared goals. You will also create a "Relapse Prevention" plan in order to avoid making similar negative choices in the future.
Harm reduction is a set of practical strategies aimed at reducing negative consequences associated with negative behaviors. Harm Reduction is an alternative to abstinence for those that still desire to confront their use by addressing their stored trauma, grief, and discomfort and want to build a healthier lifestyle with the help of counseling and learned tools.
The Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) explains that, “to evade predators, horses have evolved to be extremely sensitive to their environment. They instinctively analyze and react to our body language and other nonverbal cues. As a result, we are able to gain insight into our own nonverbal communication and behavior patterns. These horses become the focal point in client-driven discovery and analysis."
Rethink Industries utilize horses as a way of finding comfort in vulnerability through mental health treatment.
